In-depth discussions on equity, diversity and leadership development
There has been a proliferation of hirings, workshops and courses in the equity, diversity and inclusion field as Canadian organizations recognize the importance of building awareness and skill competency for employees. This work is tough and can be inspiring and debilitating for those who are pushing for change. If equity workers are not supported and empowered, the work can lead to burn out and mental health deterioration. In recognition of the hard work, and need for community building for equity leaders, Dr. Elaine Spencer has developed a variety of sessions to address the multi-faceted aspects leaders deal with when doing equity work.
